Emmanuel Olowoyeye — widely known as Empraiz or “Da Bishop of Praise” — is a distinguished Nigerian gospel artiste, worship leader, and music director whose ministry has spanned over three decades.

Beginning his musical journey in 1990 as a young chorister, Empraiz has evolved into a household name in African gospel music, celebrated for his vibrant fusion of Gospel, Contemporary Worship, Highlife, Naija Gospel, and rich African melodies.

His sound uniquely blends indigenous Niger-Delta and Igbo influences with a broad, pan-African appeal, reflecting both versatility and authenticity. Although he started in Lagos, Nigeria, he is now fully based in Houston, Texas — carrying the vibrant sound of African worship to audiences across continents.
